look out for next year....The only key player the Tigers will lose is DMitch. Assuming Tyrus doesnt go lottery, everyone is coming back. Also, Terry Martin Jr and Dameon Mason will give the Tigers some more depth and scoring ability from the guard position. Imagine this... G-Garret Temple- Temple and Martin could switch roles G-Terry Martin F-Tasmin Mitchell F-Tyrus Thomas C-Glen Davis Reserves Ben Voogd- Hopefully gets a little more comfortable as an offensive player Dameon Mason Darnel Lazare Magnum Rolle - Hopefully with some more weight and muscle Chris Johnson Tack Minor Alex Farrer I know that some of these will be switched around..you can bank on the fact that LSU will start the 3 forwards I mentioned...But, the guard position will be deep. That will be the first time in a long time that LSU can be that deep at the point. Tack, Ben, Garret and Terry Martin can all play the point. It's an amazing thought, but LSU basketball might be in a spot similar to football which is just being overstocked in talent. Hard to believe. I dont know what LSU's recruiting looks like, but geez with the year they are having, they will definately be in the running for some good players. This will make now two good years in a row for Coach Brady and next year is looking up. This will be two 20 win seasons back to back. This program is on the upswing. Congrats to those of you who have finally jumped aboard the bandwagon. I'll be honest, it was crazy seeing that many people in the PMAC for a mens game. Keep it up!!
im just figuring that early on Temple will get starts b/c he's played all this year. Mason is going to be a good player also. He has great leaping ablilty. It's going to be nice for LSU to actually have some "long" guards
i would love for this to happen, but i cant consider it yet, because it is so hard to figure the odds both t-time and big baby stay. man, i hope they do.
From what i saw tonight Voogd is rapidly improving and had some sick assists and handles. If I were Brady Id start getting voogd some serious playing time and by next year I honestly think he could be a starter. But if I were Brady I guess Id do a lot of things differently.
Big Baby isn't going anywhere. He would get eaten alive in the NBA(the dude has absolutely zero "hops"). TT is a different story, but I was pleased with what he had to say in the Reveille article the other day.
