yes, mccain is troublesome. the one thing i can say for him is that he doesnt seem to be a self-obsessed demagogue like a lot of politicians. i could be wrong though.

another note: of the currrent administration, if i had to choose a successor to bush, i would choose them in this order:

    cheney, powell, rice, rumsfeld.

i like all of them. i think people are incredibly unfair with rumsfeld.

Bobby Jendal. The people of LA are too dumb to realize that what the state needs is good business to bring it out of the dark ages, so why waste such a talent? Put him in the white house!

Lets make Bill Gates president. Then the country would run as smooth as Windows.

Benjamin Franklin or George Washington...I'd like to see how they would hold up to the hailstorm of criticism hurled in the President's direction, as well as the advent of globalism...

I'd also like to see what George Patton would do...;-)

Alive, I do believe that if I could choose someone, I'd choose Al Gore, if for no other reason than if I had that choice, I could probably turn back time and see just what shape this country would be in, and what we would have done in response to the mini-recession, 9/11, and the ever-looming Iraqi situation.

If I could literally put someone in office of my choice in November, however, I do believe I'd have to put Bobby Jindal in...I haven't ever met a more erudite individual speak to issues pertinent to me and my state, and I think that clear, concise, and straightforward manner would be very applicable to the Executive Branch.

Also, to put myself there would be nice, too...To introduce a Constitutional Amendment to make Collegiate Football the new National Pastime...Also, to institute as quickly as possible a retreat from all foreign countries, a cuttinng off of all foreign aid against any country that we consider to be in violation of any human rights standards we would hold ourselves accountable for.

ALL FOREIGN AID. Israel. France. Iraq. Russia. England. Ghana. South Africa. EVERYONE.

I would open up the Arctic Refuge for oil drilling. The Indians were displaced, and unfortunately, the Caribou might be as well. I would open up the California Coastline for oil drilling. I would immediately invest in deep sea drilling in the deep areas of the Gulf Of Mexico.

I would IMMEDIATELY deploy troops to secure our border with Mexico. I would then IMMEDIATELY free Border Patrol agents to spread out across the country to immediately deport any illegal alien they happen to find.

I would IMMEDIATELY give a 365 day ultimatum to any business, MNC, or Global Company that enjoyed US protection while sheltering itself from our taxation by relocating to somewhere other than the United States: Come back and bring your jobs, or be gone, and STAY gone. Have fun with the EU.

I would ban foreign imports of all foods and materials not in short/precious supply here. Any foods that were imported would be scrutinized, and eligible for steep taxes and tariffs.

I would-basically-like to see how the rest of the world would do without us.

I would-basically-like to see how we would do without the rest of the world.

Isolationism in the Age of Globalization...Merely for experimentation purposes only...Hypothetically speaking.

Foreign corporations are not just for the big boys. For about $2000 you can set up a corporation in a number of tax havens like Panama. It just depends upon how your business gets it money payed to it. It wouldn't work for a retail business in a fixed location but if you operate an internet business and your clients pay you by wire transfer you can get your payments in a reliable offshore bank.

It also pays to set up your USA operations in a state that dosen't have state income tax. I have found Nevada to be the best because of their secrecy laws. If you do a search for Nevada Corporations you will find agencies to set it up for you with nominee corporate officers so that your own name is listed only as the business agent. I recommend Nevada Corporate Planners. NCP offers very professional services and of all the ripoffs on the internet if you search for such services yourself I know that NCP is legit.
