If we win the players should put Miles on their shoulders and bring him over to Saban

It would be sweet if we could beat tricky Nicky in his own yard and give Miles respect.

On the other hand if we lose...I won't go there.

I say we just walk off the field looking confident. No excessive celebration. No Gatorade bath. Just walk off like we expected to win the game. IMO. I'm a big fan of that kinda thing.

i respectfully disagree. we need to act like we've been there before, which we have and more recently than bama.

I would imagine Bama fans will expect excessive celebrations should LSU win.

The team need not act like beating Bama is "the" game of the season. Reminds me too much of Kentucky these past five years, where fans are always running onto the field. On paper, LSU should win this game, and Bama has little to feel bad about given any reasonable expectation of performance heading into the season. That they are in the run for the division title is something few anticipated.

Miles is our coach and has been for three seaons now. Pulling off a big post-game celebration implies this game was one more hoop for him to jump before he wins our acceptance. I understand what the OP is getting at, particularly in light of Saban's unwillingness to let the current LSU team be a part of his past and not something for which he should be given equal credit. Let's act like winner's, though.

I gotta go with JB and 327, act like we expected to win (because we do, right?).

I don't see why. We're the #3 team and the MNC contender, not Bama.

I don't know if you saw it, but someone here posted a Bama forum conversation about how they might see cars flipped and burned should the Tigers lose. I fully believe many Bama fans expect the worst from us.
