Then WH flew into town to make his final counter proposal, I don't think he'd hold back as he was before (master negotiator, never would he start with his best offer - Sexton knew this of course). The plane leaves at 2:30 from what I understand (team meets at 1pm), if he is going to gather the team and tell them he's staying, he won't do it in the air...he won't do it in Orlando..he won't do it (by his own words) any later than Sunday. So that leaves us with this, he either comes out says I'm staying by 2:30, or he'll tell the team on the plane and be giving a press conference in Miami Sunday announcing his move to the Phins. Since PCs are announced 2 hours beforehand, that leaves us with the earliest notification being 11AM, latest being 12:30. That is the 'zero-hour' ...between 11-12:30, if we don't hear of a press conference, he's a Phin imo. He could also choose to announce he's taken the Phins job at a press conference today between 11-12:30, but my point is if we don't get a PC in that time frame it's nothing but bad.
I still think that's a difficult read. I am just very curious about the announced deadline of Sunday afternoon for his reply. Is he waiting some word from TAF? ________ Wellbutrin classaction
The thing that is so strange to me is how no one know, except for Coach himself. In today's this is totally amazing. By now the kids would have leaked it out, a secretary passing by the office, someone. Very strange!
Yea, I guess he had lots of practice by holding an iron grip on his asst. coaches and not letting them talk to media for years. Still very strange in today's media frenzy environment...of course the media will claim they knew all along, if he does take it.
I am not sure I buy into this idea that he is gone if he doesn't say he is staying before 2:30. If anything, I think the longer the better for us.
