it will be 60-0, LSU. Man, that was AN OLD-FASHIONED BUTT-WHIPPING. When Fox News's panel says Kerry did well, you can bet it was an annihilation.
I guess this is where the debate opinions are gonna go? I was disappointed. I think Bush had the opportunity to put it away tonight, but instead played defense. He should have spent a little more time explaining why Iraq wasn't a mistake, and a little less time on Kerry's flip-flopping. Although, that was effective too. Kerry is extremely intelligent, obviously. He's answers were to prepared and the lies were out of control. Bush didn't call him on enough of them. The one good thing about Bush keeping it simple was that it's hard to exaggerate in those instances. Kerry contradicted himself multiple times. He never gave a plan, but he talked about having one. Best parts: Kerry's "global test" will be in an ad soon. Bush had a great response to it. I liked Bush's questioning of Kerry and the allies, I was hoping he was eventually take offence to what Kerry had been saying. I thought their exchange during the first part of the character question was nice. The Kerry spin is all about Bush's reaction shots. I watched on CSPAN and they had the split screen the whole time, and it wasn't that bad. He looked annoyed at times, but ususally he was just listening and taking notes. I don't think it's gonna pass, none of the networks are picking up on it. In the end Bush was more human and won on substance. Kerry won on style. I was impressed with Kerry, he did better than I thought he would. I didn't think he would be able to give his answers in such a short period of time. I still disagree with almost all that he said. I'll give it a 7 - 7. Fox News' panel loved Kerry's convention speech, so I would take their opinion with a grain of salt.
Kerry Advisor Joe Lockhart called the debate a draw...and this is a guy in Kerry's camp. But Rex is ready to annoint John Kerry president. Good job douche bag!! :thumb: Douche Bag
So Rex, NOW you decide to come back? I hope you have something to justify that "OLD-FASHIONED BUTT-WHIPPING" you speak of. I doubt it, though. If your history is any justification, you'll just start a few pointless topics about how Bush is Satan on Earth and then not respond to any of them. Welcome back. I've missed your completely pointless posts.
Also... Gore won the election... Oklahoma in 2003 was the greatest college team ever, and... USC is National Champion... :dis: :dis: You see what you wanna see.
Well, well. It's the return of Spock. Welcome back. I tend to disagree. I'd say Bush handily won the first third of the debate. Kerry looked like, well, Kerry. He did handle himself pretty well in the middle third, he got Bush a little fired up, but that's just Bush's nature. I'd say that's true of anyone who stands for something and has convictions and believes in what they are doing. Not so of Mr. Kerry. I thought Kerry made himself look a little foolish over the talks with North Korea/China. But hey, he has a history of sitting down with Communists and talking, so maybe he can actually do what he said. :thumb: All in all, I'd give it to Bush with a score of 6 - 3. I did think Bush could have ended it with this debate, so I was a little disappointed. But anyway, I'm off to Georgia for that 60-0 butt whipping. My guess is more like 21 - 10 though.
