...Big Ro from the PATS? I think this is Ro's last contract year with them and Miami needs something at QB. I know Drew Brees is considered to be the top FA QB, but do you think he would make a play for Ro after he's been lighting it up with Berlin?

Sure, it's possible, but keep in mind that Miami and Saban would not be the only team interested in him.

Also, there's no guarantee he gets a shot at being the starter. Decent free agent QBs likely to be available include Aaron Brooks (don't be shocked if he's cut), Rich Gannon, Jon Kitna, Drew Brees and others (can only think of these guys off the top of my head) .

He'd come cheaply compared to the others, so he has that going for him.

That's a really interesting thought. I think most of us have been hoping for an opportunity for Rohan to prove himself in the NFL and to be in a good situation (unlike, for example, signing with the Arizona Cardinals). His time spent as an understudy at New England has no doubt been very beneficial in terms of learning the NFL, but I think he is ready to leave the nest. IF Nick Saban ends up in Miami I would not at all be surprised to see him make an effort to bring Rohan there as well.
