I have it on good authority we will buy out pete carroll in the nfl no matter what once miles is gone. should be 2 or 3 years down the road once carroll sucks again and les still has no idea whats down it is.
I actually would not be surprised if Miles left after the 2011 season, taking at least one coach with him, the rest going elsewhere. David Cutcliffe likely his replacement.
his teams almost always played up to their competition. but they played down to their competition more often than not. other than '04, they almost always underachieved. the popular theory for most of the decade was "Whoever wins the LSU vs. Auburn game is going to Atlanta" only problem with that theory is that Arkansas made it just as often as Auburn did during that time.
Does anyone here think that Miles leaving would hurt recruiting at all? Does anyone here honestly think that a 3rd coach in a matter of 15 years can top both Miles and Saban after Miles topped Saban? I tend to think that we have had it too good and just don't realize just what we have..
