If Marquise Hill stays, how about Pittman at SAM?

    He has the right size for it and has tremendous speed (4.5). He came out of HS with a projection at LB.

    Something to consider. I would like to see him playing a majority of the time. If Hill stays, he will see limited play once again.

    I think we keep Pittman right where he is, play him about 50% of the time alteranting with both ends.

    Or maybe you give Hill a try at DT and Pittman as at his DE spot, so you get your four best linemen on the field at the same time.

    I'd rather see him dominate at LB about 80 percent of the time rather than 50 % of the time at DE. We have plenty of depth at DE for sure to move him to LB.

    What does SAM stand for? I know your talking about linebacker but I dont get the SAM.

    They have names for the 3 linebacker positions.

    Will = Weakside LB
    Mike = Middle LB

    OK thank you.... I agree with you islstl...Pittman would be a real dominate LB...losing Eric Alexander we are going to need a player with some playing time. Is there a player that is planning on takin Alexander's place? If not put Pittman there!
