How come all of a sudden the Capital One bowl would be out?

it's not out...the loser of the SECCG almost automatically goes to the Capital One bowl....Tennessee would be the one getting screwed and going to the Peach Bowl unless they somehow get a BCS birth

ok, but local sports radio says something else

Just heard on WSKR the Jimmy Ott show that something had changed and that we'd be in the Peach Bowl if we lost. They seemed to indicate something had changed lately. Just curious, guess they're wrong. Thanks.

Isn't the loser of the SEC CG end up as the #2 team in the SEC as far as bowl games alignments go?

Tennessee would be #3 in that case.

Actually....#3 goes to the Cotton Bowl...and #4 to the Outback.

Those two bowls have royaly effed the conference with by picking already (particularly the Outback).

Im not sure if this is right, but I believe that the Capital One bowl can pick anyone in the SEC from #2 down to the last bowl eligible team. I think they could go ahead and pick Tennessee and not wait for the loser of the SEC championship game, its up to them...

No because look at Arkansas last year. Then fell all the way to the Music City Bowl.

that must be it--and they're talking Tennessee

I am pretty sure you're right. Where the heck is Mike Slive? Seems like Roy Kramer, as much as we didn't like him, was better when it came to bowls.

Arkansas sucked ass last year though...plus they had 4 losses...no way capital one passes up on 11-2 top 10 LSU team

    Here in Atlanta they say

They are saying here in Atlanta that the Capital One will go with the highest rank team after the SEC Champion. So if LSU looses and Tennessee is ranked higher they will go with UT. That is if they don't go to the rose or fiesta,
