Now that USF has lost to Rutgers what does this mean for LSU? If we can beat Auburn soundly does anyone think we can jump BC to #2 since they are off this week? We are right behind them in BCS points. We need to be loud beyond anything ever heard in Death Valley this Saturday night! :angryfire :geauxtige
Yes, because BC is going to lose to VT in Blacksburg during our off week. If the OSU will cooperate and lose, we will be back at #1 in the BCS.
Do we want to be back in the top two at this point? That just paints the target back on us and, not to mention, there seems to be a jinx on the top two.
I don't think we can jump to #2 without a OU loss or have the voters jump LSU over OU. If we can secure #3 in both polls, the computers will have us at #1 and that would be enough to jump BC who is currently ranked seventh in the computers....
We can jump them eventually, but not this weekend. Don't worry, they'll lose somewhere down the line.
BC has a bye and if LSU has an impressive enough win we can gain some votes. We already gained a spot. We're the only top 5 team playing a ranked team so, i bet if we win, we go to #2
Let's just jump start another winning streak for right now. We keep winning, and everything else will fall into place. This is a pretty high limb to go out on, but I am that confident to say that if both OSU and BC finish undefeated, I will buy every contributing member at Tiger Forums a beer.
yes. why are people scared to be the favorite? the only reason there seems to be a jinx is because teams are choking.
We need to keep winning period. The rest will work out. BC will have a very breif stint in the top 5.
It won't matter OSU and BC will lose before the season is over. It's pretty much ripe for OU and LSU to meet up if you both winout.
