I cant wait till next year if miles stays because you guys that are supporting him will see what he is made of when we lose 25 seniors and all of sabans recruits. we will still be unbeliveably talented but dont be surprised if we lose 3 0r 4 games.... cuz i want be....
I don't care who the coach is next year, 8 or 9 wins will be great. We lose to much at one time to just jump right back into the title hunt. There is some nice talent waiting in the wings, but there will be very little experience.
Even if we lose five games next year (and why focus on next year now, this season is not over) I would take our 8-9 years like this and rerun it all day, every day. Win a national title, have five or six 10+ win seasons, cap it with a year's "stumble" to 7-5 and start over again. Fine by me!
LOL! 2000-------------------------------------------------------------4 losses 2001-------------------------------------------------------------3 losses 2002------------------------------------------------------------5 losses! 2003-------------------------------------------------------------1 loss 2004-------------------------------------------------------------3 losses Average of over 3 losses per season with Saban...what say you, Gelybean?
buddy elite programs dont stumble to 7-5...and no im not unbelieveable you guys standing behind miles for three yrs like he has really accomplished something with the talent he has coached get real...and last yrs team was better than this yrs...freakin had 4 1st round draft picks 3 on the offensive side and we couldnt score against auburn you guys need to go watch some game film...
Next year not only do we lose all those seniors but it's our tough road year (every other year we play Auburn, Fla, and Ark on the road. Add South Carolina next year and then Ga at home). Our schedule is tough. Sat, Aug 30 North Texas Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Sep 06 Troy Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Sep 13 TBD Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Sep 20 Auburn * at Auburn, Ala. (Jordan-Hare Stadium) Sat, Sep 27 Mississippi State * Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Oct 11 Florida * at Gainesville, Fla. (Ben Hill Griffin Stadium) Sat, Oct 18 South Carolina * at Columbia, S.C. (Williams-Brice Stadium) Sat, Oct 25 Georgia * Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Nov 01 Tulane Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Nov 15 Alabama * Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Nov 22 Ole Miss * Baton Rouge, La. (Tiger Stadium) Sat, Nov 29 Arkansas * at Little Rock, Ark. (War Memorial Stadium)
Okay, Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas on the road are tough but.......... you have 8 home games! 8! Plus you have North Texas, Troy (proverbial SEC punching bag), Tulane and an unk (which may end up being a Div 1-AA at this late in the game). This year was a MUCH tougher schedule IMO. And even of those road games, what is the furthest distance LSU will travel?
