    ...who will replace him?

This is looking VERY good for LSU. Jimbo Fisher is a very good offensive coordinator, don't get me wrong, but it is quite possible he is offered and accepts a coaching job this year.

    So who will replace him?

I think the very first person LSU will go for (and should) is Norm Chow. It is well known that Chow isn't fond of "head" positions, and prefers being an assistant. Having Chow as OC of LSU would be simply awesome.

    Thoughts on this?

I'm not sure he prefers it, I think he has been passed on several times...

If we do get Chow, which I doubt, might as well give us the NC now for next year. If JR would stay, Chow would probably vault him into the top 5 of 2008 draft.

That would be awesome, but I'm not sure his offensive approach would really fit in at LSU. I still like Jimbo though. I hope he decides to stay at LSU as OC. Anyone who questions his play calling needs to watch more college football. I see major programs making boneheaded calls every game and it just makes me feel warm inside knowing that we have a solid coordinator.

Why would he want to take a step down from being an OC in the NFL to an OC in college? I would think he'd take a head coaching position in college before an OC position.
