As I understand it, if clm wins another bcsnc at lsu , he will be the highest paid coach in college football. I thought that was in his new contract.
He deserves that title for what he has done here at lsu. If les wins another bcsnc , who could say otherwise?
Is this true and does he deserve to be the highest paid coach in college football? Has les built a dynasty here? Our team is young and will compete for years to come for titles. Is lsu set to have a dynasty with the highest paid coach in NCAA football?

If you are a player that didn't grow up a huge fan of a particular school, why would you not want to play for Miles. Just the fact that after every win, he grabs who he deems a valuable player of that game, and brings them up front to sing the alma mater with the team and the fans. Ever see Saban do something like that? Hell no. I want no other coach. The pundits may say Miles is a Michigan man, but in the boot we all know, Les Miles is an LSU man.

Let's just beat Bama. If Miles keeps winning the pay issues will take care of themselves just like they always have.

With all due respect, if you guys just wanna beat Bama without even talking about anything else then why even click on the thread? Seems like the op is just making conversation.

Mr. Williams, as much as I hate to admit it, Saban deserves the credit for building the program but Les has done a great job at maintaining it. I believe a lot of people were worried that Les wouldn't be able to keep the program afloat once Saban's guys graduated. But he proved them wrong and turned the haters into believers.

Whether or not Les could have been able to build the program the way Saban did is a matter of opinion. Personally I believe he would have but maybe not as quick as saban did, IMO.

And I believe you are right, if he wins another- he will be the highest paid coach in college football.

That's what I was asking. I thought I remembered that being said. If clm won another bcsnc he would be the highest paid coach in NCAA football. I was wondering if I was remembering correctly.
It would be fitting that clm would one of the top, if not the top. In another thread someone posted the winning % of coaches since clm became coach at lsu. Only Ohio state had a higher ranking than lsu and that could change. Lsu would have three bcsnc's if we win this year and be poised to compete next year with our returning players.

I understand we must beat bama first. I got that. If we don't it won't be the end of the season. Lsu will finish a top ten team again this year if we lose. We can't complain about being a top ten team every year. Many teams just wish they could be as successful as lsu.

I would hope that if clm coaches his team to another title, he would be acknoledged as the great coach he is. He will make mistakes. We all do. These things are true, his players love to play for him, he is a good ambassador for lsu and he is never boring.

    Ps: thanks darth.
