I hope to see one of the fresman QB's play out the season(only if we lose to USC). I think Florida is doing the right thing for their program by playing the true freshaman.

I hope Mauck comes out and leads us to a victory! Go Mauck! Go LSU!

    WHY

WHY would you give up a redshirt year for a freshman QB for a team that has 2 losses?

YOU really got that lovin feelin for the tigers.

Thanks for you support but no thanks.

2 L's is not acceptable with this team. If (once again, big IF) we lose to USC due to a stagnet offense. It's time to look towards the future, IMO. I hope Mauck comes out and throws for 250 yards and 3 td's and leads us to the SECCG.

You see I was just playing the IF GAME!. SO chill the phuck out and don't question my loyalty, Francis.

Go Tigers ! and Go Mauck!

    Set your goals high!

But, if we take the redshirt off one of those guys, for 5 game, we give up a whole season for it. I don't think it's worth it. Nobody questioned Mauck while we were winning, I don't think we bench for losing 1-2 games either. That offense is made up of 11 guys. We didn't lose to Chris Leak...we lost to Florida. Time to move on.

Time to start talking about beating USC, not losing to UF.:geaux: :lsug:

2 Losses the season is done ??? You cannot be serious. This is the SEC... If I would have said LSU goes 10-2 this year at the start of the season. Would you have called that a "lost" year ???

LSU will very likely lose another game this year. Its the SEC. Its very very hard not to.

But to write the season off after one more loss to me is a bit silly.

Plus I dont agree, you dont burn a redshirt. And dont be to suprised if next year Saban does not start Randall (Assuming Mauck does not come back) yes all of us would be bitter about it. But I trust Saban on these things.

I guess my comment is if our Offense spits the bit again, then try Randall (Gosh I cannot believe i just said that) but dont blow a redshirt for one of those two.

Ok, let's not sqaubble here. Let's talk like the coaches are talking. Fix the problems on offense! I say that if Mauck is going to be our QB, it is time to get back to the shotgun QB draw more often. It is a play that makes him and our entire offense more effective across the board. Plus, let's hope the freshman RBs (who I am convinced have more talent than the previous starters this season) can step in and provide the running game this team has lacked. The offensive line needs to run block better as well. All the recievers need to eliminate poor route running and drops. I say that Devery should be benched if he continues to drop and fumble the ball every game. If we need to go younger on offense earlier than Saban would like, so be it. Let's get to the future of Tiger football if the present is going poorly.

I say lets defer to the second half, our defense doesn't give up
very many 1st quarter drives, who knows, maybe we can
get a turnover and play field position then the offense could
maybe get a short touchdown drive and get the TIGERS Fired
    up.

We have lost the field position game in the last 2 BIG Games
because its been 3 and out, or turnover.

Man, Dabbs and I haven't agreed often, but he is right on the money here. Let's not burn a redshirt for half a season when we can potentially have these guys for 4 full years.

BTW, I did question Mauck earlier this season, in fact, I was awfully critical of him, and got hammered by Dabbs for it. However, I have grown more comfortable with his progression each week, and am quite satisfied with his level of play (Even Dabbs approved of my acceptance, hehe). Everyone has an off day. You hope its not game day, but it happens to the best of them. Mauck is gutty. He will review the film, note his mistakes, correct them this week, and prepare for the next game. End of story.

Leak is playing because UF had a true Fr and a RSFr. Take your pick. While the RS knows the O a bit better than the TF, Leak is clearly a gifted player, and deserves to be starting.

I agree that it is most often better to defer. Good offense is the result of good execution and concentration. When you are super pumped about the start of the game, it is often difficult to execute the plays. Defense while pumped up tends to be more successful. A D-lineman that is stoked to start the game probably is more likely to be able to bull rush a lineman and sack the QB.

However, I can agree with taking the ball against a young Florida team to try and get on them early.

    Guys;

Take it from a hard core fan; 10-2 is not bad in the SEC; now in the ACC; maybe
