The family and I are currently on vacation in Intercourse, Pa in the middle of Amish country. I've had the good fortune to discover "Lapp Valley Farm" Ice Cream, made in New Holland, Pa. We had some good ice cream up here a few years ago but this is even better. Lemme tell yall, this stuff is righteous!

I was a big fan of Blue Bell but this made-on-the-farm ice cream is in a league of it's own. We visited the farm and cows day before yesterday, I've seen their product only at a few stands around Lancaster County and a nearby farmer's market.

This ice cream is ridiculously rich and creamy. After it melts in your mouth it's not a liquid, you feel the cream and the richness of the cream rather than milk, if that makes since. There's nothing else like it.
