we could have a six game home schedule every other year, if we pay double when the powerful opponent comes
do the majority want to play the citadel and western carolina we wouldnt have to pay the opponent 500,000.
Apparently LSU makes a profit of $2.5 million a game, so that's after the opponent is paid the $500,000. (Unless I misunderstood the information Skip Bertman gave in the paper today).
We could possibly solve the problem by having a premium and non-prememium games. Texas recently started doing this. Games like Western Illinois don't need to be $36. But when Auburn and Georiga come to town, well you could probably get $45 to $50 a ticket and not really be stretching it.
Texas does have premium, non premium games. I think they started out at around $40 for cupcake games and moved up to $55 for Big time games ie Arkansas. The OU game was $75 a ticket. The only thing is UT does not sell individual game tickets, only season tickets.
Huh? They don't sell individual game tickets? So what difference does it make what each game costs, exactly? Sounds like they just rearrange the prices to make it look like some games are cheaper, but they still set the total season price to whatever they want it to be...
