I worry about what is best for my LSU Tigers first and what is best for the SEC second. I want Michigan to the NC game and Fla. to the Sugar Bowl. That gives us a chance to match against USC. I am sorry if this screws Fla. but i pull for LSU. Having said this LSU is in a no lose situation. We either get USC in the Rose or Irish in the Sugar. Really a cant lose and just sit back and let em cry at either Mich and Fla. and enjoy the meltdown. Oh and BTW Auburn is going to some inferior bowl!!! How great is that.
I agree 100%. I am shocked that there are so many LSU fans that would rather LSU get screwed and end up in the Sugar so it will be more convenient for them. That's like me hopping we end up in the Cotton so I don't have to travel. The Rose Bowl would be the best possible outcome for LSU just short of the MNC game.

Just answer this question does a one loss SEC team and Champ deserve a shot over a one loss Big Ten team that finished second in their half of the Big Ten??????? Because what scares me about pulling against FLA is that LSU could be hurt in the future in a similar situation.
I can't figure out what happened to the Cotton Bowl. Used to be up there with the Rose, Sugar and Orange. Then the Fiesta Bowl comes along, plays on Jan 1st and gets some glory. THEN the BCS comes along and puts the Fiesta up with Rose, Sugar and Orange and leaves the Cotton out. Now everybody and their brother has a Jan 1st bowl and the Cotton becomes and also ran. Even today I feel the Cotton is one of the better bowls but I guess it is because it was once an elite bowl to play in.
Totally agreed w/ ya Calco. For Tigers fan it's a choice b/t putting the smack down on fUSC or the overrated Irish... Is there anyway we can play them both - or am I being too greedy?:hihi:

I want their to be a top 4 playoff with the NC game being the winner of the top 2 bowls for that year. Sure you have the same battle for # 5 and 4 but it is just that. The battle for 5 or 4 spot. That way you have all of this decided on the field like it should be.
