when passing judgement on coaches and teams. Some things that all of us have probably noted but thought I'd reiterate - 1) this was not the first Les Miles coached team to have a major collapse - OSU 35-0 over Texas at the half, OSU leading La. Tech by three TDs in 4th quarter then Monday's debacle. This is NOT a good trend and something I'd really like Coach Miles to address as to what he attributes this to? 2) In game adjustments - when Ainge was in and using 5 to 7 step drops the defense was giving him fits, but when Clausen took over UT went to 3 step drops or pop up throws on quick outs. Never made the adjustment and Clausen dinked and dunked us down the field. It wasn't like Clausen was going to throw deep, when he tried he was picked off or it was broken up. I'd like an explanation on this and to why Sammy Joseph can't sniff the field?
    3) Passing game - we've got 6 of the best WRs in the SEC and two very good TEs and we went vertical one time on a flee flicker. Threw to the TEs twice one in OT. Then Jimbo didn't roll JR out as much as he did in the ASU game and it seems he's better rolling out than sitting in the pocket. Also, we used to carve up defenses much like UT did our defense by throwing the short out routes until the defense would stop it. With LSU's speed a broken tackle could turn into a huge gain. How come we didn't do more high percentage stuff like the 5 yard out or the bubble screens? It just seems like sometimes Jimbo gets caught up in a certain mindset and we go away from our strengths.
    4) RB rotation - Shyrone Carey is a good change of pace, but Joe Addai is the man and I'm tired of him getting yanked out of there when pounding a defense is just what he does best. I say run Joe until his tongue is dragging. It's like everytime we get some momentum with Addai running the ball he's pulled on the next series.
    5) Conditioning - why is it we had so many players dropping like flies from heat related cramps?

All these things are things I like for Coach Miles to address at his press conference. But I also would like for everyone to keep things in a bit of perspective - LSU played 2 games in four weeks under very difficult circumstances and we've still got nine more games to go so there is a lot of football left. If we are still having the same type of grievances after the Arkansas game then I'll be upset.
