I just noticed something.

I dont know if anyone else has and maybe I am just alittle slow to catch the short bus.

This year New Years Day falls on a Sunday. Due to the NFL playoffs there will be NO COLLEGE FOOTBALL on NEW YEARS DAY.

All the New Years Day bowls will be moved to Monday the 2nd. This is from the ESPN Bowl Lineup webpage.

And I have to work on the 2nd, so I'm ticked off--big time.

 

yeah i have to go to work too, what crap. I'll miss 2-3 games.

 

WTF? I think I would use a sick day.

 

I wish I had a sick day left to burn--but schools don't take kindly to teachers taking off the day after a break, and with two young daughters, I have to take off enough days as it is!

 

I work at a kindergarden/day care, but fortunatly for me I only work a half a day. I get off at 12:30 every day and I am also off on Mondays.
