I've been reading posts all morning, just trying to find something to spark my brain. The fact is, I'm just speechless. All the years of wondering what it would be like to see LSU win it all in the Sugar Bowl, and the reality is far more than I can comprehend. No more pointing all the way back to '58 to talk about the "good ole days". Brothers and sisters, the good ole days are NOW! We can tell our kids and grandkids we saw it all happen. I watched the game with my dad, who saw the '59 SB win in Tulane Stadium. After it was over, he told me, "Now you now what it feels like". I am a happy man today!!!

I'm sorry to say that, while I'm very happy, it just doesn't feel as good as I would have hoped. I still feel like I was more excited when LSU won the national championships in baseball, and it's not because I love baseball more than football.

I think the fact that we still have to face questions even after winning what before the season was supposed to be the national championship game is rediculous and has also leaked some of the fun out of it.

I have to listen to "experts" say that USC would beat LSU at a neutral site.

You know what ESPN?? You've been wrong about the Tigers all year long. Why should it change now. The only difference this time is that LSU will never get that chance to prove them wrong. USC can hide behind the media and the Rose Bowl and make there hollow claims, and the media will just back them up.
