I want to see Sky return the ball too, but kicking out of bounds means 25-30 yd kicks, I'll take that all day long.

They can do what they want but I'll bet that Skyler will have
    at least one opportunity.
Thier punter can't be that accurate a kicker, even pros sometimes
struggle with kicking away from the returners.

They also said that in the NFL about that, they weren't going
to kick to Dante Hall but he still got some opportunities for
    returns.

You get burned either way, if we win the field position game
it'll be just that harder for Ole Miss to win.

Ok, none of the teams that have kicked the ball out of bounds have yielded any success in slowing our offense down. But by all means, kick it out of bounds. It guarantees good field position.

    KICKOFFS
Guys, Ole Miss' kicker will put most if not all of his kickoffs through the endzone on a partly sunny 72 degree-day depending on wind conditions ... THE FUNNY NEWS ... IT WON'T MATTER CUZ OLE MISS WON'T BE KICKING OFF MUCH ... LOL

    PUNTS
EXPECT PLENTY OF PUNTS AWAY FROM GREEN AND OUT-OF-BOUNDS ... great ... they'll net about -5 yards per punt less than their 42 yard per punt average. Better than a 30 yp punt average after Green rips them a new one.

Either way, they take it in the tuccus.

I wonder if Saban will put Carey and Green together to field punts? This would help us cover the field from sideline to sideline.

    Just a thought....

Yeah, it does figure, frightenTiger. It's called strategy. You know, keep the ball away from a threat when possible. I think OM will have to do a lot of "strategery" ( as GW Bush would say) to even keep this game close. It's not a knock on a team that does everything it can to win ball games. That IS what football is all about. You Do know this don't you?

Don't be surprised to see Saban counter your strategy by putting
Shyrone Carey back there with Skyler. You can't kick it away from
BOTH of them unless you shank 'em all for 25-35 yards. And Shyrone is every bit the return threat that Skyler is.
