It's nice to read all the things posted here in response to our unfortunate event. After having the day to think about it, venting to several of my friends and family and of course here...I've had somewhat of a chance to put it in perspective. It was only a car that was damaged. At least neither of us was hurt. But, there is a special place in hell for punk azz petty criminals like the ones who did it. I hope as the season goes on and I get my car back from the body shop and we go on to win another BCS Championship we will forget all about this. I am pretty sure my vow never to return to Tiger Stadium will be broken soon enough as we have a baby due in early march...my first SON! I could never deprive him of that! Thanks everyone who responded. :geaux:
Man...I park there all the time. But I agree with others. Karma is a bitch and it will come back. Just take solice in that.
Just goes to show ya there are "AHoles" all over! LATech fans...I kinda doubt it. Bet it wasn't students either! Sorry for ya there bro... :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Sad but true. Even so, I guess I'll truly never understand vandalism. I understand the motivation for theft. I just can't figure the thrill of destroying something, never have.
Wow, cool picture. I have a three year-old little girl and yours looks really happy in that pic. That's a great memory. Hold on to that. Sorry about the other stuff.
Yeah, man, that is a great pic and she looks very happy. I hope you can move on and keep sharing LSU football with your kids. We don't want them becoming greenie weenies.
Both the girls have been dressed in LSU cheerleader outfits since they were old enough to walk. My youngest who went to the game has not stopped talking about her first game yet. Gave earfulls to all her friends and all our family so it seems her night was not spoiled afterall. Unfortunately, our 10 year old has very mild high functioning Autism (Asperger's Syndrome to be exact) and the huge crowds and loud noise of Tiger Stadium for now would be a bit overwhelming to her...but she cheers for the Tigers on TV as loud as the rest of us. So, no danger of them turning to the dark side...er um...I mean...the Green side!!
Well ya'll,I just got home to realize someone had their way w/my brand new 07 tacoma on the LSU grounds.Someone aparently had a key-to-paint fetish they had to apease.I am real pissed off right now.It happened by the south side of the union.Guess I will bring the ole passat to any more home games from now on.:angryfire
sounds like they failed to maintain good fellowship. did you have any flags or license plate frames on your car? i feel bad for you. when we have to go to columbus alot of people just cross into the boarder and rent a car for the day. (just so they have ohio license plates) for traveling and parking in columbus. just remember it could have always been worse. atleast you werent assaulted or spit on.
maizean,I have been going to tiger games for over 20 years and never had anything happen to me or anything that belonged to me.If you are referring to the rumors about us tiger fans spitting or assaulting rival fans, then this is the wrong post to say this on.
