1. dont be the guy (although much too late for this) to pile on anyone but miles. do you really think les got sick of chavis' defense which carried him this year?

its much more likely chavis is tired of miles' fucking terrible offense. the fact you defend miles above chavis is disturbing but transparent. quit using weird stats to make even weirder points.

we'd have a better chance of getting someone more competent than miles than someone more competent than chavis imo.

and that i believe in the fullest but i also know replacing a head coach has much more aftershock and affects everything and everyone involved more negatively than any assistant.

so its not near that simple. if it was Id likely be looking for miles' replacement.

  2. Are you fucking serious? LSU is #5 on the Forbs CFB list with an annual football income of $105M, just behind Bama who's listed #4 with $108M annually. A&M is NOT a richer school than LSU, we just refuse to get in to a bidding war to keep him. Cam Cameron is paid more than Chavis which is sad seeing as how our QB can barely hit the fucking ground with the ball. If I was Chavis I'd want more money too, the dude has earned it, without Chavis we lose 2-3 more games this season.
  3. Maybe Chavis is tired of being blamed for losses when Miles shitty offenses don't score enough. 2012 LSU could have sealed it with a first down but Miles decided nope not gonna step on their throat or at least try, I'll be a pussy and run on 3rd and 7 and kick a 3. Same scenario in 2014, being a pussy. Chavis has carried this program. When Pelini was here we had Jamarcus and Flynn. That's damn sure better than all the J's and a Studrawa run Mettenberger. Miles is a good man, a great representative, a great recruiter, but he is a shitty football coach that's carried by talent and assistants and coordinators.

  4. I've been saying the same thing over and over and over. 10 wins, 10 wins. In 2005 and 2006, LSU had a future National Championship winning coach as an OC who is currently on a 28 or 27 game winning streak at FSU, and a pretty good DC who was fired for averaging 9 wins a season at Nebraska, the greatest statistical quarterback in LSU's history and a team littered with future legends.

Since John Chavis has been here he has had 1 year with good qb play. 1 stinking year. His defense while you could argue screwed the pooch today and twice against Alabama, has carried this program and without them, no way in hell Les averages 10 wins a season. That's about to change. You are going to see those numbers decline. You can't sit here and tell me that this year has been anything but an abject disaster at the most important position on the field. Just like 08, 09, 10, 11, and 12. His record at qb and fielding an offense is .500.

How come Alabama can lose their whole team and just be right back in the title game? Auburn can get there with a gimmick offense. Arkansas beats us every other year? Our offenses look like something from the 1930's.

Les is a great man, a great recruiter, a great motivator, but he wouldn't know what a passing game was if it bit him on his nut sack. I'll never want the guy fired because I'm not about that, but I can't defend this shit product anymore.

  5. Before Chief QBs NOT recruited by Miles. With Chief QB'S recruited by Miles. If you don't think having a balanced offense is important to the defense you're not as smart as you think you are.

  6. Perrilloux had one game and you're singing his praise as a successful LSU QB recruited by Miles?
