They've also shown it by being able to rest half their team because nobody on their schedule could beat Ole Miss. Give me a freaking break. Hawaii is suddenly a "name" school? Only b/c we'd like to visit there. And ND??? Sure, they were good when Tim Brown was there, but he just retired.
If an LSU fan says "salt", Scrappy will come back with "pepper". I don't really care, scrapster, if you want to try and throw water on every pro-LSU post. but quit coming in here and whining like a wounded rabbit when someone calls you on it. You are either having fun pulling chains or you.......
So I defend someone that LSU people dont like, I get called a name, I defend myself and suddenly I'm the prick? woah...hell then I'll just sit here and take without having my say. That would be the way to go. :thumb: Thanks for opening my eyes
I dont see how I'm such a prick just b/c I disagree with you. Plus, there are many bigger pricks in the world. This was never a pro LSU post anyway Fan. It was a lets knock USC's schedule thread. I was just saying that they do play a somewhat difficult out of conference schedule. Sorry for having an opinion. I forgot that it is outlawed here.
You do it every single time there's anything good said about LSU. Take your response to No Limit MD's post: That's a direct shot at LSU as if to say our non con schedule is weaker than USC's. That may well be, but the point, Einstein, is that LSU plays a killer conference schedule unlike your butt buddies du jour, the Trojans. Again, take all the shots you want to but stop acting like a martyr when you get jumped on. If this was High School, you'd get the snot beat out of you on a daily basis.
Well, I went 4 years in school without getting my ass kicked, so I think i did pretty good.:thumb: I say good stuff about LSU all the time but your one of those that only sees the bad and not the good. Thats fine. That brutal schedule gets a little easier after Tenn and Florida. Msst, Vandy, Ole Miss, Arkansas is half the conference slate that are gimmies. Bama will only win about 6 or 7, Florida will win 7 or 8. I'm not saying that the Pac 10 is tougher b/c I dont believe it is. It is behind the Big 12, ACC and SEC. But, lets not act like just b/c there are 2 or 3 difficult games on LSU's conference schedule that it is "brutal".There are plenty garbage games on there to compensate for the 2 or 3 tough ones. So lets think about this before you start hammering me. 1. I dont think that the Pac 10 is that great. Never said it was. I just said that USC plays touger OOC games. 2. SEC is still a top 3 conference. 3. I say a lot of good things about LSU you just dont look for them. 4. I'm not the biggest prick in the world. 5. The schedule is not as brutal as you think. That is all.
So does that mean you're in 4th grade now? Or that you got your ass kicked for the first time in 4th grade? Or did you just drop out in 4th grade? (sorry scrap, couldn't help myself)
I don't like the guys remark just b/c he rags on all these other good quality programs. USC is not unbeatable. They are not as good as everyone seems to want to pretend, particularly the media. They are a very good team, but the score of the OU game isn't a fair measuring stick. First of all, OU gave up after they went down a score. Anyone watching the game had to see that. OU was a great team with some very talented players and they just gave up. Don't know why, but had they actually played to their potential all game, the score would've been much different. They may not have won, but it would've been much closer. Second, USC had many close calls last year against teams they should've smoked if they were really that good. There were a couple that they really should've lost, but things went their way. Am I the only one that thinks that can't happen 2 years in a row? I don't see USC going undefeated this year. Yes it's possible, but I think there's a good chance that somebody is going to sneak up on them this year. They'll struggle again against some of these same teams, and it's not all going to go their way this year.
