After devoting ten hours a day for the last two years to figuring out how the BCS is determined, I have finally mastered it. It was an exhausting journey. I have mastered nuclear physics and the secrets of the universe, but this was much more complicated and required much more attention and study to master.

It was a journey worthy of a Zen master, and I had many moments of doubt that it truly could be mastered at all. But after a talk with the Dalai Lama (who went by the moniker of "24 Hour Hoochie Coochie Man" oddly enough) in an all night chat room, he assured me that "yes indeed, there were travellers before me who had reached the summit of BCS understanding."

This was just before reaching a state of nirvana, and they were reputedly taken into heaven in a cloud of white smoke.

You do realize of course that some of the secrets of the Holy BCS are too sacred to reveal to the unwashed and the unclean. I cannot reveal all that I have learned.

After all of this I have determined that if LSU not only runs the table, but beats Ole Miss 169-0, LSU will leap ahead of USC and Ohio State, even assuming they win the rest of their games, and that LSU will be number two in the BCS at the end of the season, and will play in the Sugar Bowl.

So if someone would pass on to Coach Saban that if LSU scores with two seconds left in the Ole Miss game, and that makes the score 167-0, he has to go for two.

It is the only way. Hey, go for it.

I just hope that before my own impending ascension, I will be allowed to remain in the decadence of the material world of worldly pleasures and earthly temptations a little while longer until after the Sugar Bowl and I can finally see the Tigers reach a plateau of nirvana themselves.

Geaux Tigers. Go to Hell Ole Miss.

    :)

Saban will not run up the score.
He has too much class for that.
The important thing is to get a comfortable lead
and give somm playing time to others.
This will make LSU stronger in depth for the future.
One day it won't matter who's the starter because
    everyone is good.
Domination is what Saban wants and that is why giving
up 3 points pisses him off.
    Geaux Tigers
    and
    Quit pissing off Saban!!!!!!!!!1

I just hope if we get a tough game that the offense will be able
to play consistantly instead of going hot then cold, on and off
    like a light bulb.

This is a dangerous habit in my opinion.

I'm not a coach but I've seen this kind of thing happen in football
    from watching all my life.

I think that the starting defense should stay on the field for the whole game.

Many of the computer polls use the defense stats in calculation of the rankings. Since margin of victory is not included, it's more important to keep the other team out of the endzone because it will lower our defensive rankings.

Saban should not allow the other team to score garbage time touchdowns and should keep blitzing and playing normal defense the entire game.

Saban's class should not factor into not letting the other team score and changing the defense late in the game.
