 This happens every year because he is the best coach in football. That's a good problem to have. LSU is a powerhouse again and has a NC thanks to him. Personally I wish him all the best and am grateful for the time he spent in Baton Rouge. :champs:

I agree. You know, I never have understood a man who gets all pissed off when another man looks at his wife. I mean, who wants a wife that nobody else thinks is worth looking at. :dis:

Negative things are going to be said, thats part of being around fanatics. But for god's sake, could we get a little less b*#ching. So many people on here whining, "boo hoo nick might leave, boo hoo nick always does this to us. Why doesn't Nick love us?" Those guys sound like teenage girls. Stuff happens, if Nick leaves we need to find the best possible coach to fill his position - that's what LSU fans can worry about. It makes no sense to worry about wether Nick will leave or not - it does no good.

    .

Agree 100%. He's been totally honest in saying to the extent he could that the NFL was in his future. I thank him for putting this program where it belongs.

Now it's up to the LSU community and its leaders to find someone to keep it going...assuming Nick's gone, of course.

I've got no problems with Nick. I plan to listen to anyone that offers me a 7-figure job.

No, I've got a problem with this annual NFL courtship. It hurts recruiting and agitates the fans. The next coach's contract MUST have a huge buyout clause so we don't have to go through this each year. To me it is BS that a school must pony up millions if they break a contract but a coach can just break it with no consequence.

I'm not so sure that it has hurt recruiting but it has agitated my stomach.
