Last season was full of poorly played games. I hadn't seen that this year and didn't expect to. I didn't expect Russell to have such a tough time after what I had seen of him this year. When people said he chokes in big games I said you haven't seen the new Jamarcus. I guess he does still have a bad game in him.

Living in Florida, this game is more disappointing than ever. I felt justified in talking a little bit of smack, telling Florida fans that we would bring the wood, even in the slim chance that we lose they would at least respect us. That didn't happen and now I have to face these slimey gators. Why did we have to look so bad. Ouch.

Florida looked innovative on offense and I think Meyer proved his worth. But, we easily left 23 points on the field because of total mistakes. A good game from LSU and a good game from Florida, LSU could have won that game. Despite that, in this pivital game I've lost confidence in my team. I'm back to where I was last season, wondering if Miles really is the coach for LSU.

Time will tell. If Miles can keep things from falling apart after this loss we might be ok. During the game I was mildly pleased at the difference between Miles' response to a brain fart costing the team momentum as compared to Saban's response. Now, I'm not so sure how I feel and I know the fans and supporters of the team will not afford him the same amount of understanding. All we can do now is get ready for Kentucky at home and try to salvage the season.

sometimes i wonder about these big games. Reminds of Peyton M., does great but when it comes down to the big one. Everything goes wrong including him. And you know the guy is really good, looks like a curse/jinx is going on for it to continually happen.

Go Saints, I'm fired up for today.

JR is really good at heroics in the 4th qtr comebacks against mediocre teams where LSU should win and has more talent. But in huge games where LSU is not favored or only slightly favored, JR has faultered.

I've never seen JR be as inaccurate as he was yesterday. 10 yd passes were not even on the mark and he and the center fumbled, JR forced a long pass to get intercepted, he stares down the #1 WR and doesn't check off, and just doesn't throw well in the big games.

Now JR had a lot of problems yesterday but he is not the only one to blame. We had to muffed kick that changed the game. Chevis dropped punt shifted the momentum in the 1st half and Doucet's drop on the 2nd half kick-off sealed our fate because LSU wasn't allowed a fresh start to the 2nd half but gave 2 points and the ball back to the gators.

With that said the coaches screwed up too. After UF went up 23-7, I was yelling for LSU to do hurry up no huddle. You need 3 scores and UF has moved the ball fairly well and with the new clock rules you have to think about this earlier in the 2nd half. The no huddle didn't occur till mid 4th qtr and they moved the ball easily.

Also, the coaches didn't run any plays to let JR go long. It was like JR screwed up in the 1st half on that and they didn't want to risk anything longer than 10 yards after that INT. The decision to not play Scott was idiotic and then to keep trying to run AB and JV and Hester up the middle and off tackle against a great run defense was idiotic. Scott should've been in the game to run some because he can move people and has more speed aroun the ends.

This loss goes across the boards as far as blame. Coaches and players really fell apart. I'm not sure if Jimbo is limiting the offense and still tries to run the ball up the middle or if this is Miles doing that. Whoever it is, is stubborn and doesn't know how to adjust in the game. Somebody is too scared to change the game plan.

Special teams killed us. cost us the game.

We poke around like we're gonna go on a 12 play drive, which takes consistency, which we can't do. Coaching is clueless.
