The disrespect that other teams show while our band is playing at halftime is horrible. Bennett decided to warm up his leg by kicking field goals while our band was playing. Next thing you know another Georgia player ran on the field to stop Bennett before the Band started marching his way. Then Bennett stops right before the sideline and then goes to set up for a kick while the band is right at the goal post. It took a lady with the LSU band to reach out and pull him from the field. Finally the band marches to the LSU end of the field and plays for the fans. While this is happening Bennett runs back on the field and proceeds to kick a field goal with the band in the end zone. Right then the LSU fans started yelling A$$hole so loud that the Georgia dome had to start playing music. I wish the trumbone player would have wrapped his instrument around his neck. Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!
It's too bad for him that UGA didn't need his leg to win a close game this time around. He looked like a jerk the way he acted on the sidelines all night. His team was getting pummeled, but he was sure excited that HE hit a couple of meaningless FG's.
As I overheard one coonass outside the Georgia Dome after the game, "Well at least he got his 2 field goals back..."
well, he missed three the first time though, hahahaha besides, field goals don't do a lot of good when your team only scores two touchdowns in as many games. While the other team does it in the first quarter.
You know, with all this stupidity and disrespect, you really have to wonder where the NCAA is. Bottom line: someone is gonna get hurt. Some jackass kicker is going to hit an opposing team's band member and all hell is gonna break loose. Same thing with jumping on the opposing team's logo. This crap isn't sportsmanship, its classless.
Yeah, very Grammatica-esk in his celebration. Would have laughed my a$$ off if he would have pulled a groin celebrating.
