So far we haven't seen a passing attack like Tech's and we haven't seen a running game like Auburn's......right.
Yeah, Well....... What I haven't seen from La Tech is a pass defense. That was possibly the worst defense to play in Tiger Stadium in the past 20-25 years.
I am glad someone said something FT. I tried to say something before the game, but not much avail. I just wanted to bitch slap those guys back to that little town east of Shreveport. I mean, at least the teams like Auburn have a legit reason to talk trash. But the stuff the Tech fans were saying were just mind blowing. I hope you guys read that quote page that someone posted, it was classic...This games over, Tech knows its role, and honestly...this is the first game I just laughed at. It was hilarious that Tech actually thought they stood a chance...
I hope I was one of the 2.7% before the game....I kind of figured this might happen....well, I imagined the 49-10 score might happen, but not at HALFTIME! I came into the game with GREAT respect for LSU, but left at halftime with even GREATER respect! We were definitely bitch-slapped back to North Louisiana. We lost to Penn State 67-7 a few years ago, but it was because of a ton of turnovers. We can't even blame this game on the "what ifs" that you usually have in a game. This was a no doubter and I was kind of hoping that our team didn't come out in the second half. I had visions of triple digits. Saban did a terrific job of scouting us. He wasn't about to let us stick around and pull out another Michigan State victory. LSU came out with blood in their eyes and exploited our lack of pass rush and slow corners. And on defense, LSU took away the short passing game and made us throw long. But there wasn't time for that (except for a couple of long ones) because of your great pass rush. I would like to say that you didn't get our best effort, but I can't...LSU has phenomenal talent and very good coaching. I have now seen LSU and Miami up close and personal and there is no comparison. LSU would beat Miami by 4 touchdowns. Good luck the rest of the year.
