I've seen several references classifying NS as a disingenuous person for telling the Tigerworld and recruits that he has no plans to leave.

"I am not leaving" is an unfortunate part of the recruiting game. Please tell me how he could have handled it any better.

Great Luck to NS. I know one year and one week ago I was standing in the dome with tears in my eyes as I watched the LSU Tigers celebrate a national championship in our own backyard.

I know I woke up every morning for the next 6 months with a smile on my face once I realized that I had not been dreaming minutes before..LSU had actually done it.

    Let's move on.

You know ten years from now time will have weeded out these fans who "think" Nick Saban is Satan for leaving and will remember that Paul Deitzal left. Hell Bama wasn't the first coaching job for Bear Bryant.

Coaches come and go, but they leave a part of history with the school and in Nick Saban's case it is a legacy. In return he got valuable coaching experience, a great area to recruit in and show case his talents. I wish him well. LSU will be fine, the school has survived worse than this.

I don't think he's 'Satan'. I just think he handled this poorly. From what I heard of the press conference today, he knew he wanted this job. Why drag it out? Let Skip know and let LSU start moving forward.

I'm grateful for everything he's done. I wouldn't give up the two SEC championships or the National Championship if it means he'd still be the coach. If this is the price for the success, so be it.
