LSU came in and proved that they can and will run on WHOEVER they want. And LSU can and will stop the run no matter who lines up for the other team. Those 2 FACTS are an enourmous part of what makes this team incredible!
Yes, we ran with JJ and Ford very successfully. Bama's big MLBs could not roam sideline to sideline very well. As great as they are, they are not fast or quick. We did not, however, run with our bread and butter, Spencer Ware. Still not sure why we had him run it 16 times for 29 yards. Les was hell bent on running it up the middle and between the tackles and it cost us offensively all night long. So it's a mixed bag of results.
