Let's say a couple of years go by, and Ed Orgeron has been fired as head coach of Ole Miss. Let's further say he has done nothing to specifically draw our ire other than what he has done so far. He continues to recruit against us, and maybe gets a Louisiana recruit we wanted, and does basically all the usual recruiting stuff, such as going a little negative, etc.

Let's further say that we need a defensive line coach. How would you feel if we hired Ed? He thrived in that position at Southern Cal, and is a tireless recruiter.

I'd take Zook before I took yaw yaw. After all, Meyer won a NC with Zooks recruits.

But Zook appears to be rather safe at Illinois.

The only way anyone affiliated with Old piss (current or past) should get into Tiger Stadium is via a ticket or plane crash. That being said, I'm sure a search of coaching histories might reveal a former fUM player/coach who somehow got hired (probly by Archer or Hallman), but it should have never happened.

Go to Hell, Ole Miss, or did I say that already?

I say no to hiring any guy who hits women and gets DUIs.

I'd take him, he's obviously an incredible recruiter and is a pretty good line coach from what I understand. This is assuming the head coach felt he could trust him to not do anything stupid. If there was any doubt as to his actions with regard to the NCAA or any other governing agencies, then no way he should get anywhere close to LSU.

I would scrape the LSU sticker off my truck, and cry myself to sleep.

How would you feel if we hired Bear Bryant to be our AD?
