#4 in the polls, yet #7 in the BCS What a crock- Maybe Saban should start pulling a Tuberville and running up the score. 63-10 looks a little different than 49-10 Let Randall get some reps in throwing the ball. Oh Well, Let's just hope we play one game at a time. And give the BCS something to think about. GEAUX TIGERS. www.StacieTheSportsChick.com
The BCS poll comes out on Monday afternoon correct? We can start moaning and groaning about that tomorrow night...
Need to remember that running up the score means nothing anywhere other than the AP and Coaches poll. None of the BCS computers, SOS, or anything else factors margin of victory. Best evidence of this is the fact that Ohio State is still being highly ranked in the computers after barely beating: San Diego State, Bowling Green, Penn State, and NC State.
I thought margain victory wasn't completly thrown out. Like they counted it up till 21 points or something like that. Perhaps I am mistaken though.
BCS computer polls are not allowed to factor in margin of victory. Originally, it was capped at 21 points.
