How Much is Miles getting paid?

Just curious.

I was wondering how much he is getting paid for the new job.

At OSU, he sacrificed some of his pay to be able to pay higher wages to some of his assistants which was a noble gesture.

 

We will not know until the board reviews and approves the contract. At that time, the terms will be revealed.

Anyone here know the date of their next scheduled meeting?

 

I was thought I heard it was around 2 mil. Maybe I was just dreaming or something.

 

There were a couple reports that during negotiations with LSU, Miles asked that all assistants he hires be guaranteed three year contracts.

So that would add to him being noble in regards to assistants.

 

He does seem to look out for his assistants.

 

As a matter of fact, his assitants at OSU were among some of the highest paid in DIV 1A football.

 

I doubt he gets 2 million.

 

I think he was making $1.5 million under his new contract at OSU so it would probably be more than that.

 

I bet it'll be around 1.5 with a few extra perks thrown in for performance ( i.e. bowl games, championships, ect). I'm a big fan for the pay for performance idea. Make them earn their money just like everyone else.

 

Heard one rumor early on it was 1.8M/yr + incentives, and another a little later on was 1.75M/yr plus bonus/incentives. We won't know for sure until about 1.5 weeks.
