I swear I would rather him over Aaron Brooks. I would put overpaid Brooks on the bench and play Rohan anyday. Could the Saints go after Davey and pay him as a backup?

    I agree but at first

they could sign him as a backup with the oppurtunity to win the starting job. Then if Rohan were to win the job, release Brooks the next year. He doesn't even have a chance in New England with Brady there.

  4. New England never released details of Ro's contract. I don't think they do that under Belechik, I think that's his policy. I would love to see Ro here but I would be nervous that he would catch that 'Saintsuck' disease.

they don't usually disclose the details when its initially done but it soon becomes public record so to speak and all are known soon after.

Tirk, or anyone, do you know how or why this info becomes public? Why do they put this info out? I have often wondered how it could benefit a team by having the competition know their players salaries.

I don't know how it becomes public but here is a database of all NFL player salaries, bonuses and cap value through 2002.
