I swear I would rather him over Aaron Brooks. I would put overpaid Brooks on the bench and play Rohan anyday. Could the Saints go after Davey and pay him as a backup?
if the saints started davey they couldnt pay him as a backup for very long, his agent wouldnt like that
I agree but at first they could sign him as a backup with the oppurtunity to win the starting job. Then if Rohan were to win the job, release Brooks the next year. He doesn't even have a chance in New England with Brady there.
New England never released details of Ro's contract. I don't think they do that under Belechik, I think that's his policy. I would love to see Ro here but I would be nervous that he would catch that 'Saintsuck' disease.
Rohan made $225,000 in 2002. I'm sure he is getting paid something extra for playing in Europe. http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/playerdetail.aspx?lname=D&player=517
they don't usually disclose the details when its initially done but it soon becomes public record so to speak and all are known soon after.
Tirk, or anyone, do you know how or why this info becomes public? Why do they put this info out? I have often wondered how it could benefit a team by having the competition know their players salaries.
I don't know how it becomes public but here is a database of all NFL player salaries, bonuses and cap value through 2002. http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/default.aspx
Here is one for baseball and its current though 2004 http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/salaries/default.aspx
