hey, I went to Easy-E (LSUE) for a little while. I agree, why did I have to get stuck in Funroe for pharmacy school. Logically, it is a major health care field then LSU should have it. I would have donated to the academic side.
You dont have to be an alum to join the alumni association. My father is in the same situation as you, technically you are a "Friend of LSU" instead of an alum. Money is money so they will take it from you if you are willing to part with it.
I have been a donor to the University at the "Century Club" level ($100+) for the last 20 years. I also have a brick at the Lod Cook Center and will be giving to the Mike the Tiger fund. I would give more to LSU if I could afford to do so and hope that I can before too long.
I know all too well what she's going thru. I was so disappointed that LSU didn't have a Rad Tech program. I mean, how can the states flagship NOT have all programs?!?!?!? :angry: Ok...so perhaps that last line is a bit of "LSU alumni envy"...
