I hear a lot of people (not necessarily here) say that they really only want to go to the game against this team or that team because those are the good games. :dis: I always respond to them by saying, I go to the games to see LSU. I don't care who LSU plays. I'm not there for the other team. I'm there for LSU. :geaux: (I realize not everyone is able to go to all the games. I'm talking about the people who could but choose not to only to do something else. They only go to the "select ones." Yes believe it or not these people exist :( )

Anyway back on topic. My parents have had season tickets almost their whole lives. I have been going to games since I was 2 years old. :) Over those years (I will be 24 friday :D ), I think I can count the games I've missed on half of my left hand. I started going to road games in '00 and trying (money is a big influence here ;) ) to go to 2-3 road trips a year.

Anyway I guess you can tell I'm a diehard. :geaux: Are there any other diehards like me here? I'm sure there are. So whats your story? How many home/away games do you go to?

All home games except ones like Western Ill. (ULM of course because it was opening day)

I attend all bowl games and usually at least one road game usually two.

Being in Dallas it just makes more sense to skip one game or two. Thats a lot of travel. However if I was back home I would never miss.

Also the Tailgate is a much a draw for me as the game itself. I love the whole gameday experience the food the friends. Its part of our culture. So I go in for the LSU gameday experience. Once in the stadium its all about the football.

When I lived in BR and NO, I attended every home game and 1-2 road games, plus a bowl game if played (I was in school during the Hallman era). Now that I'm in Chicago, I try to get to at least one per year at home (I'll be there this Saturday) plus one road game (not this year, though). Hopefully those numbers will increase now that I'm back in the working world.

I go to all the home games and 1 or two road game a year. Last year I went to two(UF and Auburn) and this year I will be going to Ole Miss and Bama for sure with the possibility of Miss State and South Carolina.

I am much like TexasTigers. I am in Dallas and I need to pick and choose which games to go to due to the travelling (add two small kids and it gets tougher). My dad is in Thibodaux so he goes to all of the games and just gets someone else to go with him to some of the games (so my season tickets seats never go unused). I have to work weekends sometimes with this new job, so I am making the trip to see the WI game because I have an open weekend. I can't wait to get in the car and head to LA!!!

Because I am in Dallas, home games are traveling games for me. I have to pick and choose which weekends to spend on the road for the Tigers. I can't see heading to Florida or Ole Miss instead of seeing a game at Death Valley.

There that should explain why some folks don't go to every game. I don't have the luxury of living in BR and sometimes have to travel for work. If not, then yes I would go to every game and several road games.

HEY TEXASTIGERS!!! Do you have extra tickets to the WI game that you are not using??? I am bringing some more of my family to the game and I need more tickets.

I gave them to my brother he is taking his 3 daughers to the game. Since Uncle TexasTigers only gives out one game a year that is the one I chose for them.
The youngest usually gets beat down by the 3rd period and ends up sleeping through most of it.
