dammit, now we have nothing to do until kickoff. Good season though, I gotta admit, I didn't expect them to get this far.
Well, I just need to wait until July 16th so I can get NCAA Football 2004 for my PS2. That should hold me over until kickoff.
You'll be able to play online with the PS2 version. If you have the SOCOM headset (or really any UBS mic/headset) you'll also be able to chat during the game.
Cool! I smell some serious trash talking coming. I have a friend in columbia that has been talkin sh*t for three years about how good he is at that game. Now I'll finally get to whip his ass.
it's officially the 16th, the 1st was a tenative date. The game's got me pumped up for REAL football season. Did any of you guys ever check out the MaddenMania.com forums?
I've checked them out -- but I tend to stay away from a lot of the fan forums. I'm a member of the gaming press, so I'm either not liked or mobbed with dozens of fanboy drones "can you get me free stuff... how was this game... tell me everything about it" -- Gets a tad annoying.... Heh -- man, did that make me sound pompus...
I wish they would produce the PC version again. With the recent price drops in all the systems I may finally break down and get one. I am running out of new games for my Sega Dreamcast. Now the only thing more awesome than a NCAA Football game would be NCAA Baseball, maybe name it something like "Road To Ohmaha 2004"
