How is Virgiaia Tech ahead of us?

The BCS is sooooo robbing Lsu out of being ranked around #5 or #4, If you look at the ap poll, That is what the BCS should look like. There is no way Virginia Tech should be ahead of us. Now we can just count on these teams probably losing, Ohio State and Florida State. A lot of people think that Usc and Miami could possibly lose, I dont really think so myself. We all know Oklahoma will not lose......So lets not even worry about them. I hope we end up playing against Miami in one of the major bowls and it would be "stealing recruits galore" for the Tigers.

That's whats upsetting about the BCS. There's NO consistancy!

It just doesn't make sense that the 4th ranked team in the nation is the 7th-ranked BCS team.

Do away with the freak'n formula and just let the polls decide! It would STILL be the same (i.e. 1 vs 2 for the national title).

Just use the averages of both the AP and Coaches poll to determine seeding. In the event of a tie, then use tie-breakers just like you would in conference play.

Top 8 teams would still be guaranteed a BCS bowl game. 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4 and so on.

4th-best team in the nation isn't even the 6th-best in the BCS!! B.S.!!! :cuss:

I do believe a Conference Championship game should be standardized for all conferences. I hate that things like what happened to Tennessee could happen. They play a CCG and are knocked out of the Title game while other leagues don't face such a test.

Can you say Pac-10 and ACC???

Those guys have it easy because they don't have that extra "hurdle" to take on with EVERYTHING on the line.

You are right Nobrana. LSU is being raped of a priveledge to face Oklahoma, who everyone believes is the best team in the country. If you ask me, I have to say that the only team in the nation that has a chance of hanging with Oklahoma for four whole quarters is LSU. USC is not physical enough to hang with Oklahoma and maybe even not fast enough. Look at LSU they have loads of speed everywhere. Shit, look at the players that are on the bench on our team, and you can realize the kind of talent that we have on the field. LSU is also the only team in the nation that is physical enough to hang with Oklahoma. Also, Florida State will most probably lose to Florida this week unless Leak plays poorly. Tennessee may upset Miami but don't bet the house on it. Virginia Tech will get caught hungover playing Pitt. Even if all of this happens we still won't be in NC because USC plays a bunch of piece of shit teams at the end of their schedule. Hopefully we do get to play Miami in a bowl game though if we don't make it to NC, which we probably won't make it to NC for obvious reasons. If we end up playing Miami in a bowl we could steal many prize recruits from them, or get recruits that were in between.

Yeah your right Lmb, LSU has all around talent. Everywhere you look they have amazingly effective weapons on both sides of the ball, and tons of speed and strength, All I have to say is even though we are getting robbed out of a shot, LSU is gonna show the world what they can do in whatever major bowl they get in.

No...No playoff. Conference title game is playoff enough.

You start adding playoffs and next thing, you'll be playing 20 games a season! That's just too much for student athletes.

Eight team playoff would only add 1 game a year for 2 teams and and 2 extra games for the teams that met in the championship game. Everyone else would play the same number of games. I'm sure they would be fine with that. It can be done if done right.
