With LSU-UT playing Monday night, will they put off poll voting until Tuesday? If not, it would appear that both teams would be treated as having a bye week this week, and a 2 game week next week. Yeah, yeah, I know, the polls don't mean anything right now, but it is an interesting question.

UT and Jabba the Vol get another week's ride in the AP Top 10 before they get dumped into "others receiving votes" and Alabama passes them up in the polls.

Won't that be sweet justice for the Crimson Tide after what Fat Phil's done. You reckon that Alabama fans will have some fun with the UT gang on their forums after this one.

Tennessee's October Schedule (Vols are 1-2 in September)

Sat, Oct 1 Mississippi - Toss up game with no prep time for TN
Sat, Oct 8 Georgia - Loss for UT, who could be 2-3 or 1-4 after this
Sat, Oct 22 AT ALA - Fulmer gets his just dessert & subpoena, UT loss here
Sat, Oct 29 USC - More payback, another possible loss here for UT

Yeah, UT could be 2-5 or 3-4 after October. That's a far fall down from #2 preseason.

I have to hope that voters will be good and decent enough (yeah, I know how ludicrous that statement is, but I said "hope") to not allow VaTech or someone else jump us. Normally on a bye week they don't do that, but by tomorrow the other top 5 teams will have 3-4 W's, and we'll still be 1-0. It wouldn't be right with the circumstances the way they are, but I'm starting to wonder if it couldn't happen.
