How Does LSU Match up to the Hogs?

i think our run D is better than tennessees and that JR can expose their defense but at the same time, if mcfadden and jones get going, were in trouble.

 

I think this will be a tough matchup. Didn't see the game, but from the highlights I saw, it looked like they used McFadden from the shotgun quite a bit, like a Tebow. They are getting better as the season goes on and playing with some confidence.

I think we'll have to win this game on offense. JR will have to have a great game.

I hope they are looking past MSU to us. Maybe MSU can pull off the upset?

 

Sup ya'll new to the forum. I live in Arkansas, so I have to hear everything about the stinkin hogs, especially from my coworker who has "arkansas" tatted on one arm, a razorback tatted on the other, and his 8 yr old son's middle name is razorback. The dude has never been to school there nor does he even know ANYONE WHO HAS EVER GONE TO SCHOOL THERE!! I grew up in southern Louisiana, and am class of 2000 alum, and I can't stand the lozerbacks. All they have is Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. They ARE studs. If Darren McFadden stays and doesn't go pro he can possibly win a heisman, that's how good he is. If LSU's defense plays Arkansas the way the played bama then we're in trouble. Russell MUST be on his game. Where's our running game? Did it go to Indianapolis with Joseph Addai? Arkansas is very overrated. woohoo!! they beat auburn. well, they beat somebody in an auburn uniform, because Auburn didn't come to play, kind of like yesterday against the awfuldawgs. It will be a tough game. Especially in Little Rock, the hogs are flying high, riding on emotion, thinking they might have a chance at a bcs championship, personally, I can't stand Florida either but I'd rather see them go. The hogs have no pass defense, which works to our advantage, if the playcalling is there. Our defensse needs to be more pumped up than they've been all year. We can't afford turnovers, cause McFadden will chew up the yards if he gets a chance. As big as Jamarcus Russell is he should be trucking over these little 190 lb defensive backs. Arkansas manhandled the Vols, much the same way the did Auburn. I miss Louisiana and can't wait to come home! Geaux Tigers and Saints!!

 

Welcome to the forum. Excellent first post. McFadden and Jones vs. Jamarcus' arm. As always, the game will turn on who plays the best defense. We need to take care of Ole Missy first though. Did Mustain play at all last night or did the Nutt stick with Dick all night ?

 

I am confdent that Russell, Hester, and Kieland Willams will have more offense than a redshirt freshman QB and Tennessees band of thugs. If we don't turn the ball over we should be in it to the end.

 

We had over 200 yards the last 2 games. They have made improvements the last few games, as I've seen fewer jail breaks in the running game. The addition of Williams has helped as well.

 

yeah mcfadden is good and so is jones and they will be a tough matchup for us...but there probably asking themselves right how are they gonna match up with our qb and wide outs who are really on fire right now....

 

Im sure LSU will stack the line and make Ark throw to beat us. But it will come down to JR. He can't make any STUPID mistakes. If he throws 3 pics like at UT, we're done. But if he plays like last night, we go BCS bowling.
