what gets me is LSU winning out and winning the SECCG there is no way USC played that many ranked teams. That would give LSU 5 ranked teams?.?.?. GA, FLA, AU, Miss, SECCG opp. I dont get it?
We are getting what is known as Northern Bias AND West Coast Bias. Most of your major media centers are in the North (New Yuck, $hitcago) and out west (L.A. and San Fran)....thusly the SEC, unless you are a Gator and not someone who eats gator, will always get short changed unless there are drastic changes in demographics.
You will if LSU beats the living hell outta Alabama, Ole Miss & Ark. I mean "BEAT THE LIVING HELL" outta them. 28 point + margins of victory in each game. That should put LSU as #2 in at least one poll before a SEC CG win. That's our ticket into the BIG GAME.

What can a media say when the same Alabama team that gave Oklahoma a dogfight gets trounced by LSU. Think about it! What can they say? They have to begin to admit LSU is DA BOMB. A big win over BAMA closes the gap on USC and a #2 AP/ESPN ranking.
USC has played all of 1 ranked team all year! That team is an overrated Washington State team, that lost to Notre Dame! They lost to a Cal team who is 5-6 overall. They will not face another ranked team this year. We have faced 2 ranked teams so far, in Georgia and Florida. We lost to a HOT Florida team. We will still face 2 more ranked teams if we advance to the SECCG. If we win out, it will be a sham if we are not #2!
LSU would be 12-1 w/ wins over 4 possibly 5 ranked teams and 1 loss over a ranked team USC would be 11-1 w/ wins over 2 ranked teams and 1 loss over an unranked team enough said
