1. I think this guy tries to piss me off on purpose some times because all he says it that RP is used to winning "big games" and does what he has to to win. I come back by telling him that JR has 1 year+ in the system and pretty much knows the SEC--and for big games, try UF, AU, UGA, and Iowa.

He comes back by saying that JR is "stupid." That one statement is what pisses me off more than anything. He thinks that RP will come in and be superman. I told him to remember back to games against OSU, UF, and Iowa. Honestly I don' think this guy ever watched a college football game in his life (I know he has becuase he's a sports nut, but still..)

You cannot discount the fact that JR has been in this system for years and pretty much knows what Jimbo wants done and vice-versa. RP is still relatively unknown. Fisher knows JR in and out, knows his bad habits, knows what to work on...

I'm still sticking to my belief that "yes, we COULD win a few games with RP, but why take a chance when you KNOW JR could win them all?" Of course I don't really KNOW that he COULD do it all, but I'll tell you what: JR knows that he can't get by making mistakes in the SEC, therefore he is less likely to force something. In this same situation I think RP would force a play and LSU might lose a close game because of it.

I'm not saying RP is crap (he obviously inst) I just dont think there is ANY way--not a chance in hell--that he could pass JR up this year...

Anyone know where to get high school numbers so I can compare their stats?
  2. A wise man once said, "Never argue with fools, because people from a distance can't tell who is who."

    Simple as that, really.
  3. experience..

Russell ended the year on a great note... putting him ahead of Flynn, so he thought he had it made...

THEN Perrilloux steals all of his thunder, so he is killer motivated...

he will have a GREAT year
  4. That pretty much nails it. :thumb:
  5. His argument is JR is stupid. Does your company make a habit of hiring teenagers.
  6. well you want stats, but RP was WAY more impressive...

ESJ football wasn't very big until he and Derron brought it back to the map...

And You said Russell was good in OSU, UF, and Iowa

    he was TERRIBLE in UF..

So i am not shooting holes and what u saying, b/c i think he is better than RP right now too, but just clearing up some things...
  7. Looks like he patched up the hole in the blow-up doll.
  8. dude please... make up a new joke...

I can handle the stuff as much as anyone, but it gets a bit old...

and besides, did I not say that I thought Russell is better?

  9. If you say so.
  10. THEN Perrilloux steals all of his thunder, so he is killer motivated...

he will have a GREAT year[/QUOTE]

you just read what you want to read...

Was JaMarcus Russell the Wendy's Player of the Year? So looks like that was right of me to argue... russell had 22 tds as a SR, I think Perrilloux had what? 67?

russell had 84 tds in his whole career in HS, Perrilloux had 155...

you still want to compare high school stats?

Russell had 10,744 total yds... Perrilloux had 12,705...

    still want to compare?
Did Russell play well against UF? no he didnt... 6/10 with 55 yds and 2 int's

so yeah.. please read what I say carefully.. .b/c i did say that Russell will be better this year, but the two points I argued were:

    1. Russell was just as good in H.S (not true)
    2. Russell was good against UF (not true)

and i was right on both of them... so go back t oyour joke book and find something else to say about me
