I've been listening to & watching our Tigers for a very long, long time. From my young days listening to night games on the radio to today watching them on a large flat screen TV. I've been through it all. But I've remained loyal through out. I don't know that I've ever been prouder of a LSU team than I was tonight. We were massive under dogs and the critics & the media didn't think we had a chance. But this team, with their backs to the wall played their asses off for 60 minutes and came out with a huge, enormous victory. Definitely in the Top 10 of games I've watched. Credit goes to the players who played tremendously in all three phases. Credit to the coaches as well for coming up with outstanding game plans and getting the players to execute them to near perfection. When that FG missed wide left, my 73 year old legs almost bounced me off the ceiling. Now keep it up next Saturday and kick the Rebels asses. A 5 - 5 record with that kind of finish would help a lot going forward.
I'm right there with ya brother! Been listening since the days of John Ferguson on my AM radio. I'm so pumped up after this win I'll probably be up all night. Hope I have enough beer.
I am incredibly proud of our guys tonight. That was a team of freshmen and sophomores that went into the Swamp, albeit at low capacity, and knocked off the #6 team and a Heisman frontrunner.
Who was John's analyst? My fuzzy memory tells me it was Walter something. Hill?? I stocked up on the beer this afternoon thinking I would be consuming a lot for another reason. This is obviously much, much better.
Great win but the end of that game was #fullmiles. ETA, DM desire to pad KTs stats for Heisman is what sealed their fate.
What is it with the constant comparison to Miles? Why can't you enjoy this great win tonight for what it was. A great, all around team win and of the greatest wins in LSU football history.
