We better play. It might boost your strength of schedule, which we all know is lacking, but prolly still stronger than ole miss, though i have no clue. I am but a lowey rebel.
And after giving up 40 points to South Carolina (which we destroyed)....and barely escaping Auburn (a team which we destroyed), what makes YOU so confident in thinking that you can win???
rebelfan12...What does the number mean in your username? Does it stand for your age? Your Intelligence Quotient? What exactly? In three posts, you've made six grammatical errors...Ever thought of investing in Word Processing software? By the way...No one here wants to talk about Ole Miss. We are focusing on our next game, the University of Alabama. You see, that's the only way we've gotten to where we are. You guys were thinking about this versus Memphis and Texas Tech, evidently...
The difference is this....defense. These next two weeks when the Tigers are on the road, it is paramount that the defense show up and play like they are capable of playing. I've watched Alabama and Ole Miss games this year. Alabama is a physical smash-mouth team that doesn't pass well. Ole Miss is a finesse pass and catch team that doesn't run much and has a very porous pass defense, but it's pass offense is good enough to keep them "in" every game so far. They have been beaten, but haven't been blown out. My best guess is that if LSU's #1 rated scoring defense shows up and plays to it's best abilitiy, neither game should be close. It's hard to win games when your offense is stuck on 3 and out and neither Shaud nor Eli can win a game from the sidelines.
Alright Rebelfan12, here's my take on it, Trying to be objective, here are the facts: Ole Miss is a couple touchdowns from being undefeated, as is LSU. Ole Miss wins with an excellent offense, LSU wins with a great offense and great defense. Ole Miss has a great QB, LSU has a great underrated QB. Ole Miss has a good running game, but LSUs running game is great, thanks mostly to a ridiculous Oline. I think LSU wins by around 2 TDS in a medium scorer. LSUs offense is better than Auburn's as is our defense. Ole Miss can overcome good defenses to get about 20-24 points. So it has to be 34-20 LSU on top.
