If the President wants them in this country, they can all stay at the White House. Or add another 10k to the District of Columbia. But I think it's bullshit a state just has to take people.
dont be ridiculous, read about the process, i wouldnt want them in my back yard at all, but this is hyperbole. Its like an 18 month process for the to clear UN hurdles and the US process is even longer.
maybe because they keep a close eye on these people. also, people like Snowden has educated terrorist and how we use intelligence to thwart these attacks in the past. Now Snowden has essentially unraveled all of that and gave them the bible on how to go undetected in planning attacks.
They can't stop immigration, that's a federal thing. They can't stop them from traveling to another state, that's a Constitutional thing. Refugees get 90 days of support from the feds, then they have to support themselves or apply for state and federal aid according to existing laws, state by state. All he can do is treat them like anybody else with a green card in his state. That is a very big Pandoras box to open in Texas.
If nobody would hire them or rent housing to them it wouldn't be so appealing for the jihadists to be here.
What are you talking about? I agree with you 100% about changing positions when new information comes out or just through your own life experiences. I think the fact that changing positions has become an attack point with politicians is a major issue and has contributed to the dysfunction that we now have. I was just point out that no matter how little he likes JBE, he's probably going to have to deal with it for 4 years.
