https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch...ining-alt-right-deity-behind-their-meme-magic I thought Pepe was racist,.. then a while back I googled,.. what I gathered was,.. Pepe is thought to be a racist icon by some groups, some laugh at that notion. The reason I posted, 123, was to get a response from you. What's your read on Kek and Pepe, sir,.. and why did you type PEPE as an acronym.
The Schlieffen Plan was a plan by Germany for victory that had a hammer and anvil approach to destroying France before Russia could mobilize. The Germans vastly underestimated the Russians ability to mobilize and the Belgians and French put up some really good resistance. That plan was eventually scrapped and trench warfare started to happen all over the Western Front. What’s really interesting about WWI to me is the leaders of 3 of the major powers were related to each other through Queen Victoria. The Kaiser and the Tsar (both of which mean Caesar in their respective languages) were cousins. A lot of people think that had Bismarck not been sacked by Wilhelm, the war doesn’t happen. And then there are other people that think about what the world looks like if Germany wins WWI. Is there a Hitler? If Germany wins faster how long before the revolution in Russia?
Kek is unique in that it shows the power of autism and the internet. Long Live PEPE. https://pepethefrogfaith.wordpress.com/
Von Molke screwed Schlieffen plans by thinning the right flank and shortening the swing through Belgium. As you said the Belgiums put up a much stiffer resistance and the Brits & French fought well. Mainly the Germans ran out of steam and ammo. Actually the Russians did well mobilizing but they didn’t have the tools to be effective against the Germans but they did steamroll Austria causing the Germans to expend Ebert propping them up at the cost of the western front.
BTW we also owe our relationship with the French to Victoria’s son Edward VII. He knew the Kaiser was unstable and a threat and he single handedly moved English public opinion from anti French to pro French. This changed alliances several hundred years old and tested over many wars. It is an unsung heroic effort that really should be brought out more.
