here are some news from yesterdays practice I got from GC Dallas Baker's physical tools are just sick, and Dee Webb was having a hardtime staying with him. I don't think Webb has ever covered anyone that.......1. has that kind of body (tall, big, muscular, and most of all physical) 2.....somebody that knows how to use their body that good. Baker is a guy you just let go deep and chuck it up. He'll catch it! Troupe is a man among boys. It looks like a grown man playing with little boys. As big as he was last year...he's that much bigger. Dickey seemed to have a little more zip on the ball than Midget. I'll let someone else post a more detailed report. Just a few quick observations.
here is a little more I got from Gator country Chad jackson and Andre Caldwell are gonna be very good. Dallas Baker looked fine in drills. While Ben Troupe did not get many balls in his direction he is still our biggest threat offensively. He and Guss are the two best football players on the team. It's a shame we dont have a QB coach to work with Midgett on his mechanics. He definately needs a RS. Leak throw a beautiful ball. Very catchable. Hangs it up a lot though. Joe Cohen is HUGE! So is Taurean Charles. I cant wait to see Taurean man the middle! I dont understand why max is working out at guard. He NEEDS to play tackle. 6'8" is a HUGE guard. Brian Crum runs like a deer. In a drille they were doing with the front 7 they would run in place and have to hit the ground, roll over, get up and run to a sideline like the were prusuing a ball carrier. He was back to his feet and beat Mccullough over to the far sideline by 4 steps. He also appears to have added a little bulk. GET BEN TROUPE THE BALL!
"36-7 hmmmm sounds good to me" Now that's why the LSU fans are sooo respected throughout the SEC. Florida's been kickin our butts for 20 yrs. We beat them for the first time since 96 and no Florida fan can come in a forum 7 months after the game without hearing about it. Heck, Lee Corso can't pick against us on College Gameday unless he's willing to take a few golf balls in the noggin. I guess that's why the rest of nation hates us. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
