I have read several posts here that bash fans in North Louisiana because LaTech is in North Louisiana. Please consider there are Die-Hard LSU fans up here in North Louisiana who would like nothing more to see these LaTech fans eating crow Sunday afternoon. Just because people like myself live in North Louisiana does not mean we all pull for LaTech. I have not missed a game in Death Valley in 4 years, and will be in my seats again Saturday night decked in my purple and gold and foam tiger hat. Thanks guys GEAUX TIGERS
there arent many die hard tech fans up here, but i cant count the nimber of die hard lsu fans up here
I agree. I grew up in North Louisiana (until I was old enough to move myself to South Louisiana). I was born with purple blood in my veins and a fleur-de-lis birthmark. True Louisianians like me are LSU and Saints fans.
I live in north LA (Shreveport) and trust me there are a TON of people here that bleed purple and gold. You can't pass more than three cars or trucks without seeing someone with a LSU license plate or something showing their pride. I even converted my friend that goes to Tech this past weekend taking him to the game. He is now officially dropping out of Tech and heading to a real school next semester. (LSU) Let's see someone go to a Tech football game in Ruston and get the same rection.
I really care not whether a person from North Louisiana pulls for Louisiana Tech over LSU (Although I still believe there are probably more LSU fans than Tech fans up there). What REALLY pi$$es me off is all the Dallas Cowgirl coverage up there. My girlfriend is from Shreveport and it makes me sick that they pretty much think of themselves as a part of Texas. I'm all for just re drawing the border around Shreveport so we don't have half-a$$ Louisianians in the state. I know this doesn't apply to all people from Shreveport, it's just way more than it should be.
