Two years ago it was a slip-up against Leak and Florida (and Zook) that kept LSU from the elusive undefeated season. Can you imagine? We take care of them and there's no obsession with the Trojans, no controversy, no half-this half-that. No idiot sportswriters writing columns titled, "Sorry LSU/USC, but LSU/USC is the REAL champion." Can you believe that the best LSU team in a generation lost to a Ron Zook team at home? That, my fellow Tiger fans is why I'll be extra pumped (with adrenaline and scotch) for this game.
